Everything's (mostly) Good

http://www.equinenow.com/horse-ad-172472

So, I'm getting a horse. She's really cool, and cheap! only $500! AND she might be pregnant. Cool, huh? And today Mom and I are going to see a horse possibility for her...which will be pretty awesome. When I say "for her" I mean for my Mom. Just so you know.

Oh, yeah, and VBS is ending today. HOORAY! Don't get me wrong, little kids are...bearable. But bearing with eight of them for five days, well, it's a little tough. Although the kids seem to be having fun. I had to act as Pharoah one day, and we were acting out nine of the ten plagues. At one point they got to stick smiley-face boils on me while I was "sleeping". Let's just say that was an "interesting" experience.

Philip had his big dance performance at the County Fair yesterday. He was doing cultural dances with the other teens in his group. He did...well...it was funny, let's just say that. He didn't do really bad or anything. He's only been dancing for a few months anyway, and he's not naturally coordinated. Anyway, that was fun.

Mikey's getting baptized today! Yay, good for him. At least I'm pretty sure it's today. Anyway, yeah, good for him!

Dad wants me to write a book over this summer. To give me something to do. Thing is, I have no ideas. So, if you have an idea, it may spark some part of my imagination, so even if I do not use that particular idea, it may help, so please comment on this with your spectacular ideas. Or your not-so-good ideas.

BUSY BUSY BUSY

Well, sorry for not posting at ALL since April. But so much has been happening. Much of which I will not tell the general public of the internet. I will simply tell you the current news, to keep it simple.

I've graduated! I'm officially a freshman now, which I must say is actually pretty cool. Just knowing that, yeah, I'm in high school now, changes everything. Well, not everything. But most everything. Ahh, the pleasures of summer.

Speaking of summer pleasures, the first day of summer, I got sick. I still am sick, as a matter of fact, as thursday was graduation. And now if you have read this far, I'm afraid I must ask you to look away from your screen, for the description of this nasty sickness is not pleasant in any way. My ears feel like there are earwigs of fire burrowing through my ear canals. EEWW. And every time I swallow, I feel like I'm trying to swallow a tonsil. Not pleasant.

And you may now return to your screen.
