I'm sooo hooked

WOOT I am sooo hooked, Larissa and Andrea!!! Kyler you probably do not care in the least!!!

I.
Went.
Thrift.
Shopping.

For like the first time ever! I mean Crossroads is great, like obscenely great, but it's not exactly a thrift store. I've never realized how absolutely great the feeling of holding a 12 dollar Abercrombie and Fitch jacket vest is before now. *insert angel choir singing "hallelujah"*

Of course Shelby had to take the jacket vest. O well, probably looks better on her anyway.

But I did get a 3 dollar belt of way coolness, and some awesome victorian ish retro ish shoes of pure awesome, so I'm happy.

HALLELUJAH!!!!

*whew*

Well, the horse I like is still for sale...this is a good sign. Or at least, the ad's still up, which doesn't necessarily mean it's still for sale...

Anyway, just relieved about that. For another subject, I'm going to go to Philip's talent show soon, which is...cool? I'm not really sure as I've never been to a talent show before. Don't freak out, I know what goes on in talent shows (although the way I just worded that made it sound like something bad goes on at talent shows...), so I'm not completely deprived, you know, of...talent show...ness...anyhow, Philip is composing a song on the stage, which no doubt has to be interesting. The only other thing I know about it is that there will be a comedy routine as well, done by some other guy. Well. This will be fun.

My Spring Break is almost over, and I feel a distinct lack of satisfaction. I did accomplish my goal of doing nothing, although yesterday I painted a...painting. (what else would I paint?) But now I wish this had not been my ultimate goal, because of the UTTER BOREDOM I have felt over this week. It makes me want to break 57 pencils in half with my bare hands. Hmmmm...that is a terrible idea...hhhmmmmmm....I should definitely try that!! Yea!!!!!

Ridiculous Superstition

I have come to the realization that keeping things from the internet, such as not posting anything about any available equines, is just a ridiculous superstition. You see, every time I post something I want up here - houses, horses, and the like - They are sold quite quickly and we don't get the chance to try for them. But this is all a matter of chance. It would've happened even if I didn't post about it. Soooo - here is my new target.

As you can see, the horse pictured above is gorgeous. Simply fantastic. He is pictured during different points of his training - desensitizing, riding, and leading. Actually, to be exact, he has never been ridden, only sat on. He has been led with a mannequin on his back, and has had people sit on him, but no actual riding. Which is more spectacular than you might think, at least for me, anyway. You see, to keep my interest in riding, for me I need to feel sort of obligated to do it. With this horse, I would need to ride to finish his training. He naturally jumps 4 feet easily, which is really good considering he was never trained particularly for jumping. He is like Theodore O'Connor, he is the same size, and jumps very well. 14.1 hands high, the perfect height. He is a mustang with a whole lot of Spanish influence, as you can tell by the pictures. It's obvious. His ad says he can canter at the pace of a normal horse's walk! This shows great collection, and also he has a nice smooth gait, something my current horse is definitely lacking in.

Now for the price...only $500!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it? Unheard of amazing. His name is Riley O'Connor, obviously named for his role model, Teddy O'Connor. I guess it's an OK name. Better than Elmer.

Everybody, keep your fingers crossed for me, that this post doesn't ruin my chances of getting him...bye now!

*sigh* Sorry about the horse's head that is cut off in the one picture...not literally cut off of course...Just, sorry, I couldn't fix it...

*audible sigh*

At last, the wonders of spring break...short enough so you don't completely forget everything about schoolwork, but long enough to be thoroughly enjoyable. So far I have managed to do absolutely nothing, which, of course, is my ultimate goal, although I did do quite a bit of tanning on Friday with my friends. This hardly counts as doing something, however, because tanning consists of laying around on a towel in a swimsuit, listening to music and pouring coca-cola on yourself as a sort of tanning solution. I'm not sure if that was effective or not, considering I also used A LOT of ordinary tanning oil, but whether it worked or not is really not the point. I've made my way through several books already, one of them really very big.

Anyhoo, I am NOT going to mention anything particularly wonderful that I have found, because it seems that every time I DO put something up on here about a certain obtainable equine, it is sold the next moment, or something ridiculous of that sort. So, this time, I am going to be quite certain not to give anyone any reason to think I have found the perfect, er, object, to buy. Because obviously I haven't. So.

To Alex, if you are reading this, as I so clearly advised, if this isn't entertaining enough, then go to Kyler's blog. It's much, much worse.

Anyway, to all you alls on vacation, isn't it so GREAT???? And to everyone else, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

PHOTOBOOTH

So, these are some pics from the photobooth at the creepy bowling place from last night. I am the girl (duh) the little guy is Mikey, And the smile that shows in, like, three of the pics is Philip. Nick was in the booth too, but somehow managed to not be in any of the pictures. Hmmm...
Anyhow, last night was interesting...first of all, my family went to Nick's house (I say Nick's house because I know him probably the best of their whole family) and ate dinner, then went bowling at like 1 something in the morning, then we went back to their house and watched a movie, left, got home at 1:50, went to bed at 2:00.
And it was not exactly super great because I was the only girl bowling in our little group, so I had the lowest score both times we played. And the place we were at was creepy, with a whole bunch of drunk people and, well, creepy stuff. Well anyhoo, hope you enjoy the pics, especially cuz they are the first pics of ME that I have put up here, so you all had BETTER like them.

aw, fudge

Well wouldn't you know it. Just my luck. Of all the things that could happen...

*sigh*

That gorgeous, perfect horsey was sold a whole day before I even knew about him. We were just too late. On the up side, Mom said she wants to get me a horse before summer...and summer's coming up pretty fast! So yah, I'm very excited about that.

And for Kyler, Larissa and Andrea...I have some very INTERESTING news, well, not really NEWS per se, but it is interesting. So email me, because I'm not exactly wanting to put it up all over the internet. It's not that bad, I'm just a little bit more private a person than...you know...other people...

Anyway, sorry for the super short blog, just had to share the news. YIPDAMINIKAHONEYGAZUMPTAYBUMPTAYBOOMPTAYLAAOOOAAOOO!!!! lol, and nobody can say it. I wish I could put a recording up of myself saying this...

YIPPEEE!!!!!

Today has been a memorable day so far. Firstly, I have found the horse of my dreams which, amazingly enough, looks almost exactly like my current horse, though about 21 or so years younger. As you can see, he is WELL TRAINED, and only 4 years old, so that is like, a definite plus. He is 14.2, the same size as Debbie (his way older twin) and this measurement is in Hands, so for all you non-horsepeople, a hand is 4 inches. Anyway, this is the perfect size. Not too big for us short people; not too short for when we get taller. He would look absolutely fantastic on the trail with Debbie right beside him. Plus, he is a gelding, which is just great in every way. The only downside? His name is Elmer. Whatever. We'd just change it.

Actually there is another downside, which is he lives in Apple Valley, which would be a long drive to our place, but if we borrow our friends' trailer, that should be ok. The biggest deal is the price: 600 dollars. No kidding, $600. I'm thinking this has to be a typo, that he's really 6,000 dollars, but he has no registration papers (like I care) so that could affect the price, I suppose. YIPPEEE!!!!!

And I rode Debbie today, which I haven't done in a while due to her hoof issues, but it went fine, so that's all good. Mom says that if we get this horse, (who I have already re-named Denny) I will have him and she will ride Debbie. Which is fantastic since Mom won't ride nearly as much and Debbie needs the retirement, and Denny absolutely does not. So ya, I'm a happy person.

Of course Dad will absolutely forbid it, but perhaps if Mom persuades him, which should be easy enough, MAYBE just MAYBE...maybe we could actually get another horse...*squeal of excitement*

sooo

Yup, life has been progressing...at a very, very slow pace, I must say. Sorry to kyler, the crazyitalianboy over there, for commenting so rudely, but hey, I only spoke absolute truth. Anyhoo, Basketball's over, for anyone remotely interested, and I have become rather fascinated with the Macarena. Ooo, and if I figure out how, I'm going to put a narration on the Girls' Chorus Video and stick it on here. If this is possible, I will soon figure out how, with my helpful brother's...help...

More on the Girls' Chorus video, which is actually extremely boring! We are singing at Woodside Church, and I think Stacy was missing this time but everybody else was there. I'm the ghostly pale girl behind the other ghostly pale girl; only half my body is visible, actually. Actually, I think it was mostly the lighting, because Courtney is like, super pale, and she likes it like that, and she looks tanner than me so I'm really thinking NO. And Katie was the only one smiling the whole time, which we were all SUPPOSED to do. Oh well.

I am SO excited. I am going to be in a RENAISSANCE wedding. How cool is that? Seriously. I'm not part of the wedding, just a guest, but I mean WOW. It's going to be so much fun. Which is not necessarily what I would want in my wedding, I mean, my uncle LARRY is going to be doing the service. No way would anyone wanting to have a serious wedding would do that. Although I would want mine to be fun, I wouldn't want it to be THAT fun, if you know what I mean. Oh well, everybody's happy, so I guess that's what's important. I suppose.

Sooo...have a great life, I guess, because not everybody does.
